KAELEIGH VAN ZYL

Principal & Owner

Kaeleigh showed a definite passion in Early Childhood development from a young age by volunteering with schools since the age of 16. She went on to work as a full-time preschool teacher and built her experience from real-life classroom situations. Later, in her professional career she went on to be principal of 2 nursery schools and furthered her education by completing an international qualification in ECD (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.) She has always had a vision for her own school and a value system that is close to her heart. She looks to develop creativity in all learners, provide emotional support, develop communication skills and the basics of literacy, numeracy and life skills that will better the child in the foundations of formal schooling.

LEANDRE SMUTS

Teacher for 1–3-year-olds | Aftercare Grade 1–3

Leandre is an asset to Pebbles Preschool with over 3 years’ experience. She is honest, reliable and very friendly. Leandre has a definite passion for children and is dedicated to working with the Pebbles team, no job is ever too big for Leandre, she will always go the extra mile for the children in her care as well as all her colleagues. Leandre loves to nurture children and teach with love; she gets to know each child and their dynamic personality. Leandre meets each child’s needs at their level. Leandre has completed her first aid and fire safety training. She is currently furthering her studies.

CHRISTINAH NSOKWENI

Gr 00/ Gr R Teacher | Aftercare Gr 4 – 7

This is Christinah’s 5th year of having the opportunity to influence children’s lives. She has always believed that one succeeds in education when you have had the ability to at least make a difference in one child’s life. All children are unique therefore Christinah works with the concept of I do, we do, and You do. Christinah is a team player and gets on well with everyone. Christinah has completed her first aid and fire training. She enjoys quality family time with her son and partner.

SINDILE MUTAWA

Chef / Assistant

Sindile has been with us since we opened. She has great experience in the kitchen as well as with children, she has done a course and learnt how to make the best food and baked goods. She is a dedicated individual, easy to talk to, honest, witty and is an asset to the Pebbles team. The children look forward to seeing what food Chef Sindile has prepared and love all her baked goods. Sindile enjoys going to church on Sundays. She enjoys spending time with her family and has two children. Sindile has completed her first aid level 1 and fire safety training.

ANNA PAKKIES

Assistant Ages 1–3

Anna is a fun, loving, charismatic person. No job is ever too big for Anna, she always goes the extra mile. She is married and has two young kids of her own. Anna has been working with children for 7 years. She has completed her first aid level 1 as well as fire safety training. She has an infectious smile and is often caught singing and dancing with the children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. We love having Anna as part of the Pebbles family.

ANNAH MOSIA

Assistant Gr 00 and Gr R

Annah is a dedicated individual, reliable, trustworthy, and extremely hard working. She is a little shy and speaks softly. No task is ever too big for Annah. She has so much respect for the children in her care as well as the parents and her colleagues. We are so grateful to have her be a part of our team. Teacher Annah has completed her first aid level 1 and fire safety training.

GIVEN MOYANE

Gate / Maintenance

Given is the first person you see at school, he is there to make the drop off in the morning run smoothly. Given is a young, vibrant, trustworthy employee. He runs the security at school. He is also super handy and will fix almost anything that breaks at school. All the children at Pebbles adore him and look forward to seeing him in the morning for a high five, hug or even a simple hello. Given has completed his first aid level 1 and fire safety training. We love having Given be a part of the team knowing he keeps the children at Pebbles safe as well as the staff.
